Overview

GTF is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as M&E Manager. In this role, under the direct supervision of the Programs Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems for the organization’s programs and projects. You will ensure that the organization’s programs and projects are effective, efficient, and achieve their intended outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring and evaluation methodologies, data analysis, and project management.

 

Responsibilities

·       Develop and implement an effective monitoring and evaluation framework for our organization.

·       Design and implement data collection tools and systems to track program outcomes and impact.

·       Lead data collection efforts, including conducting surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.

·       Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

·       Prepare and present comprehensive reports on program performance and impact to the management and other stakeholders.

·       Develop recommendations for program improvement.

·       Ensure that all programs are evaluated according to the organization’s standards.

·       Collaborate with program managers to develop realistic and measurable goals and objectives.

·       Provide guidance and support to program teams on monitoring and evaluation activities.

·       Ensuring that all program data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

 

Requirements

·       Proven experience as an M&E Manager or relevant position.

·       Proficient in monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools.

·       Strong data analysis skills using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) and Excel.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

·       Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.

·       Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

·       Detail-oriented and efficient.

·       At least 5 years of experience in M&E positions, preferably in an NGO setting.

·       Proficient in English, Afan Oromo, and Amharic.

·       BSc/BA in social sciences, statistics, or relevant field.
